The 2013 Wish-A-Thon is a new all-day charitable event hosted by Dallas Cowboys great, “The Original 88”, Drew Pearson. The public is invited to join Pearson and his co-hosts Paul Salfen, Michael Nast and Mayra Leal as they break a YouTube record by broadcasting the longest YouTube LIVE event ever while they film for FOX Sports Southwest. “Our goal is simple,” stated Jim Proctor of Dodge City of McKinney. “We want to raise enough money to grant not just one, but several wishes for 2013”.
“Everyone is excited to be part of the very first wish that will be granted in 2013,” stated Entertainment Director and co-host Paul Salfen. “I am also excited to see who is coming out for the red carpet and who will grab a seat with Drew on set. I understand there is a long list of celebrities including my beautiful co-host, actress Mayra Leal (Machete), who will join us for this very special day.” Leal and the owner of Dodge City of McKinney, Gus Rodriguez, will bring a couple segments with celebrity guests in Spanish.

“God Bless Make-A-Wish North Texas for their efforts to continually grant the incredible wishes of young children in need of hope and encouragement,” said Pearson. “It’s also important to point out that Jim Proctor of Dodge City of McKinney recognizes the importance of giving back to their community. Make-A-Wish is an organization that we all need to support wholeheartedly. They help bring hope and joy to the area children that we all live, work and worship with every day.”
