Celebrate Texas’ Independence with Dodge City of McKinney

On February 28th, KTXD TV’s The Broadcast will help kick off Texas Land and Cattle celebration of Texas’ 179th Anniversary of Texas Independence. The Broadcast is hosted by 5 very talented ladies in a format similar to The View. Courtney Kerr from The Bravo Network, former CBS news anchor Lisa Pinero, Texas Cooking Blogger and former weekend host on WFAA Amy Kushner, National Radio Host Suzie Humphries, and Dawn Neufeld from VH1s Football Wives and voted as Top 10 Dallas Most Beautiful.


From 9-11 a.m. on February 28th, the ladies will be broadcasting live from Texas Land and Cattle in Fairview, Texas. The line-up will include Sports Legends: The Original #88 Drew Pearson, Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Johnson and Rodeo Champion Tuff Hedeman. Robert Minkoff, director of Mr. Peabody and Sherman and The Lion King will stop by to be interviewed and give one lucky audience member some signed Mr. Peabody and Sherman memorabilia and Texas Red Dirt Music Star T.J. Broscoff will perform live!


The show will also feature a segment about a truck that is as tough as Texas, the 2014 Ram 1500.     It’s actually the 178th anniversary of the Republic of Texas declaring its independence from Mexico…not 179th.
