On March 2, 1836 the official Declaration of Texas Independence was adopted and settlers of Mexican Texas broke off and formed the Republic of Texas.
Dodge City of McKinney is celebrating this important day with KTXD TV’s The Broadcast, a variety show that airs every weekday at 9 a.m. In honor of the Independence of Texas, the show will be doing a live broadcast at Texas Land and Cattle in Fairview. The line-up will include Sports Legends: The Original #88 Drew Pearson, Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Johnson and Rodeo Champion Tuff Hedeman. Robert Minkoff, director of Mr. Peabody and Sherman and The Lion King will stop by to be interviewed and give one lucky audience member some signed Mr. Peabody and Sherman memorabilia and Texas Red Dirt Music Star T.J. Broscoff will perform live!
The show will also feature a very special segment about the 2014 Motor Trend and Consumer Reports Top Pick of 2014, the 2014 Ram 1500! The Ram 1500 is the perfect truck to couple with Texas Independence Day because it is as tough and hard-working as the Lone Star State.
The Broadcast will air live tomorrow, so don’t miss it and you can see the tough-as-nails Ram 1500 by visiting Dodge City of McKinney at 700 South Central Expressway in McKinney, Texas or by calling them at 972-569-9650 today!
