MCKINNEY, TX, 04-29-14 — Mark your calendar! On May 20th 2014, representatives from Chrysler Jeep Dodge City of McKinney will partner with parents and teachers for a Drive for the Kids Fundraiser to help raise money in support of the Lawson ECS Driving for the Future.
Between 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at 500 Dowell St McKinney, TX 75071 parents and guests will have the opportunity to earn a $10 contribution for the school from the Chrysler brand, by taking a test drive in the award-winning 2014 Chrysler Town & Country minivan – highest ranked in loyalty 12 years in a row. Everyone is invited to join the fun. Any licensed driver, age 18 or older, may drive and earn $10 on their behalf. There is no limit to the number of drives. Chrysler Jeep Dodge City of McKinney will provide 2014 model Chrysler brand vehicles along with dealership personnel volunteering their time to answer any questions.
“We enjoy working with the schools and are looking forward to the opportunity to support the kids,” said Jim Proctor, GM of Chrysler Jeep Dodge City of McKinney. “This year we are especially excited to show off the world class interior of the 2014 Chrysler Town & Country, along with more than 40 standard safety, security and technology features. Drive for the Kids fundraisers are a lot of fun,” continued Jim. “Everyone works together to help the kids.”

At the conclusion of 2014, the school with the highest number of test drives in each one of the five geographic regions (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Central, and West) will win an additional $5,000, for a total of $25,000 in additional funding from Chrysler through the Drive for the Kids program.
In 1993, Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids and became the first automotive manufacturer to reach out in direct support of local schools. Since then, Chrysler dealers have worked with parents and educators across the nation to contribute over $5 million to schools located in communities where Chrysler and its dealers do business.
